Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes. 


As the name suggests, Gulmarg offers a wonderful sight of grassy slopes filled with flowers. The word “Gulmarg”, literally meaning “the meadow of flowers” in Hindi,  was coined by Sultan Yusuf Shah.


Pahalgam, also known as the “Valley of Shepherds”, located in the Anantnag District of Kashmir, is a nature lovers retreat, which makes us believe that paradise is not always far. 


Known as the 'Meadow of Gold', Sonmarg is set amidst a valley of flowers and lakes. The word “Son” literally means “Gold” in Hindi, this golden beauty covered with white snow is most attractive in the spring.

Nestled in Northern pocket of the Kashmir valley is a freshwater Lake - Wular – that is a treasure trove of water chestnuts or water caltrops. Fed by Jhelum River, Wular is Asia’s largest freshwater body.

Bangus Valley 

Bangus valley is the most pristine offbeat place in Kashmir. This lush meadow valley is famous for its serene and raw landscape which mostly is dominated by grassy wavy meadows along the famous river Mawri.
